Hello!
Well, I'm back! Maybe a little slowly at first but here I am updating after what feels like a year. :) But, really it's only been a couple of months. Lots of changes here. We are settling in comfortably in beautiful Kelowna BC. Oh, Kelowna how I've missed you so!
And! I installed Norton anti-virus and shortly after my computer crashed. Completely and totally crashed. Somehow I managed to get things up and running again (please don't ask me how because even now thinking back I certainly can't remember how I did it) and thank goodness the day before I followed Norton's advice and backed up all my photo files in their little strange online vault. I don't pretend to understand these things really. But, I wonder if Norton didn't have something to do with the crash?? So, after talking with their support staff we managed to get those files back. Still I couldn't find them and I was dreading spending another hour on the phone when I downloaded Picasso 3 (love Picasso!) and they asked me if I wanted to find all the pictures in every folder on my computer I said Yes please! And.........yes........ Picasso found all our 5000+ photos stored on our computer. My tears were now tears of joy and I jumped around the living room in an excited hippy monkey jig.
However, all these photos are in Picasso folders and if I want to post something online I have to resave it to my pictures folder. A small task really. :)
So, here are a couple of pictures that I've taken from our lovely Kelowna. Hope you enjoy and I've missed all of my imaginary readers.. and those of you who aren't imaginary too! *snickersnortgiggle*
Frost on our windows. My Mom said we are losing hundreds of dollars in heat with these windows but wow was it pretty.
My favorite beach!
Pinecone bird feeders we made to attract the birds at our new home. It's been a pretty quiet yard compared to the frogs, deer, birds and raccoons at our last home. But, we'll work on it. :)

P.S. Do you twitter? I've just signed up for this crazy little thing and I'm not quite sure what I think about it yet. I'm Tammy2luvs on there! :D

So great to see you back - and SO happy to know you found your photos! I really need to back mine up before anything happens to my computer - I'm very bad at doing things like that!
The frost on the window was beautiful - just like a fern leaf in pattern! Good to know you're settling in well.
Welcome back! A few months ago we picked up a really terrible computer malware and had to reformat our entire computer. It took many, many hours. We also use Norton, and in addition Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy.
I just followed you on Twitter!
Thank you Amanada! Yes, it's a good idea to back them up. I heard of one women who picks 'the best of' about every 6 months and then backs just them up on a CD. I'm going to have to go back and do something similar. It's a great idea anyway.
I'm off to see what you've been up to. :)
Daisy. :) Thanks for the welcome home. Someone told me once that Norton besides their exceptional rep is the cause of such problems with ones computer. The techs guys said norton had changed everything about itself but I think when it's time to renew I might just find another to be sure.
Wow quite an adventure for you over the past few months huh? I love that photo of snow on the beach, so beautiful. Great to see you back again :)
Welcome back! Sorry to hear the computer troubles but luckily you were able to get all your pictures back. Those are wonderful pictures you posted by the way!
